Jeff brought along slides which made it easy to visualize the points he was making. He began with a brief history of Poland and its culture. It could be seen in the different architecture of the buildings Jeff had gone to Poland to teach English at a high school in Warsaw. There were about 15 students per class. A ques- tion and answer period fol- lowed his talk which brought even more information about the food, his travels around Europe on his school breaks, living conditions in compari- son to Canada and the Polish politics. For Jeff, it was very enlightening to be right there during, the time Poland was adjusting from communist tule to a democracy.
