Dave Paterson, Grant Richardson and self are accepting entries (at $35 per team).: Match of the week from the Halton (pub) league is Time Out #1’s contest with Royal Pizza. The opening teams sets were tied one each, Vic Lovell and Dave: Scutt making the winning set doubles respectively. Roger Vanderham and Larry Varey were the only singles winners for Time Out, over-Ed Paterson and Gary Ball. Lovell, partnered by Michelle Dykum, took their doubles over Alex Hustlers. Time Out #1, Time Out #2, Copper Kettle, Charleys #2 and Legion #2 round out the first half standings. Larry Hunt and self scored 180 with Doug Burnett scoring 156. Ron Scarlett and Pete Pickering both scored three 140s with Sherri Reid netting a single. The Industrial league big match of the week was the clash of the two unbeaten teams, Dream Team and Suifortably in the end, 10- 4. Vanderham scored the lone bonus for Time Out with 140.
