The winners were Brad Youmans, Colin Brown, Mike Weston and Dan Abercrombie. They defeated a strong four in Terry Hancock, Beau Beaumont, Mike Pepper and Joe Cairns in the final. Minor Novice Hurricanes had a rough week of hockey leading up to Christmas, losing three Straight games as the flu bug hit the team. Lacking ~ hustle the Hurricanes dropped a 7-0 game to Welland Dec. 18, a 5-1 decision to Brantford on Dec. 20 and then closed out the week with a 7-3 loss to Niagara Falls Dec. 22, With many Players out due to the flu bug or trying to play through it, there weren’t many highlights in the three games.
