- Notes
- Notes by Jack Charlton: - 51 Charles St. The Town bought this property from the Crozier Estate and demolished the dwelling in 1969. It appeares to have been built in 1877 by a Charles Noakes. The entrance to the house was on Charles and the lower floor was built into the side of the hillside. It was rented by the Lougheed family prior to its sale. It was situated on Charles Street at the Pine St. Hill on the north-east corner. For image of the spot in c.2000 see image labelled 'Intersection of Charles and Queen'.
