- Description
- The Ponte Di Sospiri or Bridge of Sighs connects the old prisons to the interrogation rooms in Doge's Palace. The name is said to have been given by Lord Byron with the idea that prisoners would sigh at their last view of beautiful Venice before being jailed. A must see for visitors to Venice such as the Langmuirs and Davis'.
