- Dr. Anderson was born in Trafalgar Township of Irish parents. He married Lawrina A. Cowan and they had one son and one daughter. He was a Town Councillor and also Mayor of Milton. He was Master of the St. Clair Lodge. In 1917 He was elected to the House of Commons representing Halton as a Conservative member. He received his medical training in Toronto, Edinburgh, New York City and Chicago.
