- The school was demolished in 1973 and the Milton Public Library erected on the lot. The caption underneath the photograph reads "Miss G. Young's class is pictured here and there is some confusion over the date. Mrs. W. T. Randell (Gladys Kennedy) who loaned a copy to The Champion thinks it was 1910 or 1911 but Mrs. Fannie Evans also has a copy of the same picture and she thinks it was 1913. Front row left to right, Jack Elliott, Russell Hepburn, George Cooper, Marhsall White, Morley Harbottle, Wray Bousfield. Second row, Jim Hornell, Archie McEachern, Horatio Ford, Jim Vaughan, Hume Alexander, Elmer Wharton, Wesley Liddle, Allan McCready, Gordon Rixon, Elmer Tuck, Ross Hare.
