STAPLETON, Gifford Williams WWII and D-Day Veteran Peacefully, on Thursday February 22nd, 2007 at the Mountainview Residence, Georgetown. Gifford, in his 90th year, husband of the late Margaret (nee Frost). Loving father of Robert and his wife Shirley of Georgetown. Loved grandfather of James and his wife Brenda and Melanie and her fiance Mark. Predeceased by his sister Ruth Hammond and by his brother Robert. Funeral service was held at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Monday February 26th, 2007 at 1:30 pm. Spring Interment Huxley Cemetery, Hillsburgh.
