WILLIAMSON, Gail Merritt (nee Dawson) It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing, with grace and dignity, of Gail Williamson, after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday March 7th, 2007. Beloved wife of David Williamson, devoted mother to Kelvin and Judy Williamson of Jordan Station and Christine Williamson and Karen Dillon of Cambridge. Cherished Nan of Kate, John and Heather Williamson. Daughter of Leila Dawson and the late Ken Dawson of Toronto, sister of Don and Sandy Dawson of Toronto, Linda and Rick Rising-Moore of Indiana and Mary and Stan Johnson of Vancouver. Gail will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Gail was an unforgettable, caring person with a beautiful smile. She was an active volunteer with the Red Cross and the Georgetown Contact Centre. Gail's love of nature and animals showed in the artwork she created. She was a gentle, loving soul, always finding the good in all. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
