The caption underneath the photograph reads "Grade 7 was pictured in 1946 in this photo loaned by Mrs. Merle Mitchell (June Mountain). In the front row are Ron Marshall, Bob Cross, Ken Buck, Harvey Pettigrew, Irwin DeForest, Jack Smillie, Dennis Marchand, Ron Ryder, Keith Twiss. Second row, June Mountain, Donna Tufford, Freda Howard, Jackie Marchand, Eleanor White, Jane Elliott, Katherine Holmes, Dorothy Cross, Lena Mauro, Joan Trimble, Joan Montgomery, unknown.
