This picture must be much newer than the 70's by the looks of the car in front of the Oak Tree.. 2003 or 4?
Yes. the photo must be much newer as the car on the right is for sure late 90's early 2000's.
It was James Edgar Kelley (owner of the Kelley House) -a blacksmith who started the hardware store in 1878. John Kelley was his son. John probably inherited the store. It appears that he sold it to his brother-in-law James McGregor in 1893, the same year that James Edgar Kelley died. John had worked in the store with his father.
