Many thanks to Marion Jackson (nee Alton) for her research work done in England. Marion and her cousin June Livingston (nee Breckon) traveled to England in 1979 and brought back this information regarding our Breckon Family Line in Westerdale Yorkshire, England.
John and Isabella came to Canada in 1831. Joseph and his wife Maria drowned in the Lachine Rapids. Ralph and his wife Lydia, his mother Ester and his sister Ester Jr. came to Canada in 1832.
Originally the Breckon Family Line is believed to have come to England from France in the 1600s. They may have been French Huguenots. - Date of Original
