- Possibly Jim "Sam" Hughes of the RCAF with his Mossie, as this fighter aircraft was commonly called. Flight Lieutenant "Sam" Hughes flew a de Haviland Mosquito bomber in the Second World War. He is pointing out gun damage to the tail and the fuselage.
