- Postcard (first of five) to Rev. R.B. Layton, Kentville, Nova Scotia, mailed from London, England on 3 August 1914, one day before Britain declared war on Germany. Postcard is from 29-year-old Agnes Mary Kitchen and her 21-year-old sister Gladys Kitchen.
