- The Olympic Torch relay for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games visited over 1,000 communities across Canada, and Oakville was lucky to be one of them. The torch relay began in East Oakville, following Lakeshore Road, and ending up on Dorval, where this picture was taken.
