the two cars which had been shoved back after the accident he was lifted on to a stretcher and carried down to johnsons hotel he lived between five and ten minutes after i saw him and died on the way down to the hotel t amined him and found the most noticeable injury was on the left leg which from the ankle to the thigh wu shattered the flesh ground to a pulp and the bones broken into fragments the right leg was broken at the lower part of the thigh and the bone splintered the left arm was broken jast below the shaalder joint there were sever al woands about the fsce the head on the nppcr and back part had an extensive scalp woand aboat two and a half inches long and two inches wide the forehead was bruised and abcascd over the greater part above and oa the oater side of the left eye
