operation todav the acton public utilities commission has had its part to do for the im proved bvstem which is inaugurat ed the commission has arraiccd that the new station serve all the eat end of town the wool comb ing corporation and beardmore and co ltd the former feeder to these two plants from no 1 station u being switched off to make way for a feeder from the new power unit the commission requested a breaker switch which has been in stalled at the third line so that ir case of emergency the whole town can be supplied with power from either one of the substations and voltage can be switched from one to the other since spring the commission has had on order an aerial cable to be installed down frederick st the advantage of the aerial cable will be that it can be touched hv tree branches while an ordinary wire could not and so the treeutll not tecd to be cut an oyster can produce luoooooq eggs during its lifetime dance every saturday night modernaires commencing october 14
