culmination of months of practices rehearsals me ings and planning sessions tor the cast and directorate of acton round up 1965 comes this saturday night at 8 i 5 in the evening the curtain will open on the community centre s huge stage for the only performance of the show which acton lions first started to plan in the fall of 1964 demand for reserved teats for the one performance of the show has been so brisk the lions had to switch several more rows of seats into the reserved section there is also a demand for regular admission tickets which comprise over half the 1200 and more seats available the show which has a wests rn jheme has a unique tks appe tmng finale as soon as the final curtain goes down the participating merchants of aclon will stage a chuckwagon bean supper for everyone in the community centre cowgirl y s men ettes assisted by ihe rangers will serve the meal on disposable plates which can be topped off by either a chocolate milk cocktail or a smash of cow juice door prizes ranging all trie way from a weekend in a mali burton inn to ceramic dishes will be drawn during the show everyone holding a ticket for the extravaganza will be eligible in addition joyce and jack carpenter has e cast of over 100 the letting is acton west e tiny village in the upper canada of the nineteenth century which as the production dramatically illustrates was named by e
