their 50th wedding an niversary during open house satuidny the wellknown acton couple were married in knox manse october 4 ii6 bv rev j c wilson and tip until the time they retired in 1949 the couple farmed throughout the acton- irockwood district mr macpherson was born on the present s g bennett farm east of town and was one of 1 1 children his parents were the lute archie macpherson and eli za tushingham mrs macpher son ihe former jane moore allan was born in erin town ship the daughter of the lae john allan and rubina auld after their marriage the couple farmed on the present vysc farm on
