days of the war he enlisted in the air force was discharged med ically and went to fort erie to serve out the balance of the war as an aeronautical engin eer at fleet aircraft following the cessation of hostilities he entered the busi ness world in sales it was in this capacity that he became interested in the canadian cancer society as a volunteer in st catharines ontario in 1946 in 1952 he joined the ranks of the permanent staff of the ontario division and has serv ed as the executive director of that division since that time each year he journeys to the american cancer society an nual
