to hayt the girl sent 10 oakvillc i felt she would be better handled in a larger centre he said by the time the ambulance reached oakville however her condition had become worse she still registered some heart beat but her blood pressure had fallen in the hospital there dr f b roberts said several doc tors tried all the available re vival methods but at 815 about an hour after arrival there the girl was pronounced dead dr waldorf the pathologist who performed the autopsy said that any attempt at re vival would have been unsuc cessful and death was inevit able had the girl been reviv ed he said there would have been permanent irreversible brain damage crown attorney peter mcwil- liams commended the medical team for the heroic efforts in trying to save the girl he also said that the county medi- caj officer of health should be able to close areas without adequate safety standards it is abundantly clear there va an appalling lack of pro vision of water safetv he said the iurv took
