each time sensing that she was being recognized the lady apologized and explained to the operator im sorry to keep calling you so often but they just papered my room and covered up all my numbers 1 the lady had the right idea to save time and avoid number erron its a good idea to jot down frequently called numbers but we think a personal directory for such numbers is much handler and much less likely to be wallpapered if you would like a personal directory for your frequently called numbers just give us a call at dial o and well be happy tq send you one free of charge its easier for jour friends and associates to contact you when your printed business cards and letterheads or personal stationery give your complete name and address that includes our complete telephone address not just lor busi ness associates to reach them quickly by telephone when necessary even if all vour correspondence is personal and you dont use printed stationery its still a good idea to let xour friends know vour area code along with your phone number and to know the complete telephone ad dress of your distant friends of course using the area code is a must if ou are able to dial your own long dis wrong i would like to congratulate mr p woods on his letter to the free press concerning the sew erage backing up on mr van normans property i don t agree with what mr woods says and i quote mr john shadbolt should just sit down quietly and mind us own business of course it is my business when i as a tax payer am asked to believe that it is right for this tax money to be spent on solving one individ uals problem there is obviously something wrong when a statement is made that one cannot get a contractor over a period of six years to do a job the only reason i pointed out in my letter to the free press that the chamber of com merce would be wining to supply names and addresses of contrac tors was not to get the chamber of commerce involved which i have no right to do but just sim ply
