thomson last thursday evening mr and mrs thomson moved to the new farm homelast spring which they pur chased a few miles east of the town of arthur several of the menfolk went along too and had a social time together a smorgasbord supper with a good variety of food was enjoyed by all reversing the usualproceduie the program for the meeting commenced with several contests which th e men entered into as well one of special interest was the identifying of several childrens photographs all of the folk now adults were pre sent at the meeting mrs q britton and mrs calvin mctatyre were in charge of this enjoyable part of the program mrs willard britton ascour- tesy convener thanked the hosts mr and mrs thomson for en tertaining the institute members and their husbands at their new home as school held in milton on september 12 and 13 on sleeping garments mrs f mccarron and mrs mr and mrs bruce huff of east lansing michigan visited several days last week with tier parents mr and mrs calvin altken and also attended the an nual meeting of the american farm economic association and the canadian agricultural eco nomic society being held at the university of guelph mr chris andrews ot colorado and mr dvid peacock of michigan who are graduate students at michi gan state university were also guests at the altken home while attending the meetings in guelph mr and mrs harris roe and
