recently a few changes have been made in these resulting in the following for wells ponds and special cases of water supply farmer is eligible for a grant of 50 per cent of the approved cost and for fence tree or stone re moval for field enlargement 40 per cent of the cost the farmer may receive grants not exceeding 1500 in total for any one or a combination of these expenditures he also can receive onethird of the costs of farm drainage or the erection or renovation of permanent farm structures grain fruit or vege table storages paving of barn yards etc op to a maximum grant of 1000 all farmers must own the farm and have a minimum gross in come of 3000 during the pre vious year from the farm how ever the owner who rents his land to a tenant may now apply for a capital grant provided
