earl duke and miss frances searle three of canadas top trap shooters were present to demonstrate their ab ility with shotguns earl duke came up with 50 straight shoot ing singles 24 out of 24 on doub les and later in the day got 43 out of 50 doubles doug norton got 48 out of 50 in singles and 41 in doubles cash prises were awarded un der the lewis option system the lewis option was designed to give all shooters inacompeti- tlon an equal chance of winning the names of the shooters are put in the order of the scores they get the top three shoot ers usually axe paid and then a predetermined
