and mrs e henson of lucan were recent visitors with mr and mrs fred anderson mr and mrs mac sinclair and daughter glna visited in acton and attended baptist anniversary services mrs j raetsen invited her commercial students at john f ross collegiate guelph for a hay ride at the home of her par ents mr and mrs gordrogn- valdson saturday night mr and mrs charlie cutts attended the golden wedding an died in a fire in toronto despite frantic efforts the two young girls and two young friends lost their lives in the fire the youngsters attended the brookviue school since septem ber after moving here from brampton the family were building a new home in the campbellvllle district mr mclaren works presently for the department of trans port at the island airport his parents live with the family here the funeral was in acton last wednesday missionary work subject of meeting unit 2 of the ucw met with mrs veldhuis presiding and op ened the meeting with one min utes silence in memory of the late mrs
