mcphedran 410 warren parkinson 380 and william adsett 220 they were followed by jj hewett with 186 burton hill with 184 and peter dudnlck with 147 sevan were contesting the five school board seats and those elected were murray smeltzer 427 ross modougall 421 doug buttenham 389 bob leslie 388 and george smith 345 others running were lloyd waddell with 208 and morris wolfe with 113 three wore elected cen tennial celebration and official opening ceremonies of the mun icipal building saturday after presentations speeches and en tertainment a centennial dance concluded the gala evening presentations were made to former eramosa reeves who be came wardens of wellington county s mclean and d gray as well as the present reeve warden cameron lush the presentations were made by d mcphedran j milne and f cox mr mclean who lives in guelph was unable to be pre sent and his sister accepted his gift for him he was warden in 1935 flowers were presented to the wives of e mckenzle nassagaweya assessment qp 10 per cent a report submitted to nassa gaweya council this week shows an increase of 49375 over last years total assessment this represents an increase of 1071 per cant over the total assess ment for 1966 of the total assessment 6692 per cant is levied on residential and farm properties 2554 per cant commercial and industrial and 794 per cent in business assessment th same report shows nass agaweya has grown from 2804 to 1194 in population honor cameron lush at wardens dinner den for guidance and leadership given county council his lead ership was appreciated and had brought honor to that has been converted into eramosa township hall he said the first recorded meeting of the school board was in july 1906 in a rented hall at centre inn the first teacher in the school in 1907 was
