of ontario this legislation has the effect of splitting the responsib ilities of the treasury depart ment into two departments one being the new department of rev enue and the second being the department of treasury and economics other important legislation in troduced this week includes an act to amend the consumers protection act these amend ments will further reinforce the consumers
