82nd year interment forest lawn mem orial park glendale california obituary mrs john kenney acton lost another highly respected and lifelong resident last week when mrs john kenney passed away on tuesday at the home on bower ave nue mrs kenney had been enjoying her usual health until christmas day when in preparing for the day with the family all at home she suffered a stroke of paralysis during the per iod that followed recurring seizures were suffered and she passed peace fully away on tuesday evening janu ary 10th she was in her seventy- fourth year mrs kenney was before marriage barbara swing nickel a daughter of the late john nlckell and was born at the fatm home near llmehouse almost fiftytwo years ago she was joined in holy wedlock to john ken ney and since then acton has been her home three childen blessed the union and these remain with the be reft husbard to cherish recollections of a home life that was enriched by her guidance and faithfulness to its care linton the eldest is in toron to lloyd in montreal and telford in hamilton all were home during her last illness and were indeed a comfort to the parents at the limt she was the last buniving member of the family of the late john nlckell two years ago mr and mrs ken ney celebrated lheir poldrn wedding anniversary which wai indeed a very happy occasion her chief interest was in htr home and her achieve ment in making it ont which the lam i ily loved and many friends enjoyed visiting marked her life as particular ly successful and endeared her among many neighbor and friends in acton i and elsewhere she was a member i of knox church and when health permitted enjoyed church fellowship the funeral wa held on friday af temoon with a service at the home conducted by the rev h l bennle assisted by rev
