home on monday af ternoon and from st james metho dist episcopal church the rev jan p xjeffler oltmafng interment was made in rlverdale cemetery sur viving besides her husband is a sister mrs katfaleenvlangford toronto and an aunt mrs william barton of detroit mich mrs mcdonnell i born in georgetown but has lived in niagara atlls ny tor 38 years maktha e beid martha e held daughter of the late rev hugh reid of erin passed away at her home on mill street actonrrm thursday august 31st bom in cale- don township she later removed rshtmved prjcticttliy an- bcompawcror her lifetime for the last seven years she resided in acton in the comfor table home she and her sister had built on mill street east she was a member of the baptist church she is survived by her sister mary m with whom edward a benham wellknown and lifelong re sident of georgetown mr benham had suffered a heart attack a week previous to his death but at the time it was not considered serious how ever a second seizure on thursday evening proved fatal and he pae bvaj at his home about eleventhirty o clock deceased was born in george town 66 j ears ago and had spent his entire life in the community mr benham s wife the late emma mc dowell predeceased him two years ago in uie real estate business for over 25 years mr benham made many friends and was highly respected by all who knew him he was a member of the united church and the masonic order surviving are one son clar ence of georgetown and three sisters and one brother mrs g mcwullams miss emily benham mrs h stan- derwlck and fred benham all of to 11th the bride tobe was again feted when a large number of friends from ahgrove united church and young peoples union met at the home of miss i wrlgglesworth the first part of the evening was spent in playing games on the lawn then all assembled in the sitting room and dining room after enjoying a short program zeta and fred were asked to sit under the arch which was decorated with pink and white tissue paper a decorated bas ket containing the gifts was carried in by miss marion dick and mr jack ruddell and presented to the bride and groom the bride assisted by the groom opened the many lovely and useful gifts which showed the high esteem for them by the church and young peoples union zeta and fred thanked all for their kindness lunch was served by the members of the yfu mrs c jeffers and
