oeorgetown mr pickard moved to toronto at a young man and haa sine had a distinguished career in musical circles for twenty years he was organist and choirmaster of walmer road baptist church mr and mrs walter anthony remember him as a choirmaster at brampton baptist church in 1889 when both of them sang in his choir there six years ago he accepted a posi tion as organist in a port arthur church and since that time he had spent a summer vacation each year in oakville the funeral service was held from the home of his fatherinlaw john manley on tuesday with burial in clarkson cemetery he is survived by his widow the former mabel man- ley herself a noted soprano singer of a decade ago mr pickard was a tea cher at the toronto conservatory music foi several years dr rolph waldo harrojd a native of georgetown died in seattle wahington on july 23rd at the home of his son ralph l harrold dr harrold who was a dentist was in his 82nd j car ht was born on sep ember 3ic 1858 and married
