the good news whether we are u leave for camp borden ms afternoon or not and we are hoping the word comes through soon as we certalrly will be glad u be back with our pals again bo at this time i would like to express my sin cere gratitude tor bending the george- town herald to me i have always en- joyed rtading it and it seems to be a bit of sunshine right from the home town i believe the fellows overseas and the fellows here iu canada who are on active service feel the same way about the herald the boys in ttie barracks here who are from some of canada most famous regiments have come from the yukon and nova scotia to take their course in signalling most of the fellows i know are pp r l i lad from winnipeg it was this rig mnt that sorre of the georgetown boys went overseas with i believe the troops around here are a lot luckier than some for we are able to go into kingston for a swim at the y m ca i take in a movie or go skating some- time we are lrvited to go swimming at queen s university i was also plea sed to meet a couple of the boys from georgetown who now have jobs here n kingston lewis hum be rs tone and norm barber whom i know quite well now it looks like the best of friends must port as we have finished this course and must go back to the different camps across canada i mum sa 11 was quite an experience knowing ano making friends wwi these tads who are leaving and who will some da be the nerve centre of canada s annj lr the rield of battle in closing i wish to thank you once more for that much appreciated her aid and i will be anxiously looking for
