all the way georgetown lions chalked up an other victory in their opening play off series with gait royals at george town arena last friday night when they defeated the heavier visiting team by a 5 3 score the oalt team showed little of the class which gain ed them top spot in the gaitpreston ferguselora juvenile group and georgetown kept the puck in gait territory for a good portion of the game the first period was rough and the game almost got out of the hands of referee gord lane who filled the re- fereetng breech when oalt failed to show up with the promised whlsue- tooter between periods both teams were given a talking to by oalt and georgetown officials and with lane cracking down on rough play the last two periods saw some better hockey on both sides wucox scored for georgetown in the first when the locals had much the best of the play in the second period gait gave the lions some an ous moments and chalked up bwo quick goals near the start of the period this was the only time dur ing the game that kemshead in the georgetown net had anything much to do with each team playing one man short wilcox and kenney grac ing the penally box the lions came back with two counters irom
