womanhood she had very high ideals and as a mem ber of the ashgrove methodist church became an ardent sunday school and epworth league worker she taught both boys and girls and for a num ber of years previous to her depar ture from ashgrove she was the bible class teacher she was the first and only lady president of the esquesing i sunday school association she was a great worker among the young peo ple being president of the epworth league for some years many were the young folk who sought her counsel and guidance for to those who knew her best she was a kind and understand ing friend after her fathers death she moved with her mother to guelph where again she linked herself with church work in paisley memorial church as long as her health per mitted while living at ashgrove she assisted with the post office for many years and used dressmaking as a means of making her livelihood al though of delicate health most of her life she never complained of this handicap her will was lost in that of her masters and up to the last she was cheery and bright waiting w4th calm and sweet assurance for her lords call home it can be said of her she was faithful to the end those among many others
