campaign now released georgetown district exceeds objective by over 5700 treasurers report shows a c weik treasurer ol the cana diar war services campaign in th georgetown district has released final figures on the campaign which shows the district to be over 700 past the k tal objective of 2500 the cam paign wifich took place last spring was a joint national appeal by the salation army ymca ywca canadian legion war services k en c canadian army huu and the i o dje for western provinces only and had a total objelve of 5600 000 heading the campaign in this dis l ct was alex maclaren as cha r champion mutcr and a former glen williams resident died suddenly in gait hos pltal on friday december 19th she had undergone major operation three weeks before and her recovery was so marked that she had planned jo return home or the week end when death came suddenly on friday mom lng mrs white wa the former mary rebecca mae breiman and was born in stlttsville forty one years ago when she was very young she movea wltn her family to glen williams where in 1920 she married j 8 fry who predeceased her in 1928 she wa an active member of glen williams united church serving as president of the ladles aid singing in the choir and teaching in the sunday school when she became the wife of f leonard white in march 1034 she transferred her interest in church and community affairs to milton she waa a
