delightful christmas party at the home of miss doris kean this week court whist was played santa paid a visit and a salad plate supper was served by the hostess united church sunday school concert on friday evening december 16th the basement of the united church was filled to capacity for the an nual christmas entertainment put on by the sunday school members as usual the songs and recitations by the tiny tots in the beginners class de lighted the audience other high lights of the program were patriotic drill by the primary department a play squire ha ley s christmas by members ot the intermediate depart ment merry christmas drill by 14 intermediate girls the junior ghotr der the direction of mlm stwfntft sang very sweetly indeed also a tof chorus accompanied by hnfj tsfpb trie sunday school orchestra vm id attendance and contributed two selec tions as well as accompanying the carol singing other numbers on the program included vocal solos by norm long and bud tost eupaonlum duets i greetings by james burns and ross fetch and a recitation by jean bird a group of girls from cedarvale school also sang two pleasing christmas numbers at the close of the program santa claus
