the georgetown herald wednesday june 1 2th 1946 legion notes bylmo there aeero to be a good many dif ferent opinions around the branch as to the advisability of following the us ual practice of cancelling meetings during july and august while the fininrif1- holiday at first thought teems quite a good idea it is also true that a terrific backlog of business has accumulated therefore it seems rea sonable that if meetings are cancelled during july and august the pressure of business when resumed in septem ber will not easily be handled a good many of the members and some of the executive have intimated that in their opinions meetings should be held during the summer months and we cannot help but feel that serious consideration should be given to this point on sunday afternoon june 9th
