johnston of georgetown mr johnston is owner of the dayfoot shoe company here which he purchased last year from mr c b dayfoot the gravllnbale line of work shoes which is a cheaper grade than the high quality dayfoot line will comple ment the georgetown product and make it possible for one selling organi- zatlon to carry a more complete range of work shoes for the trade the campbellford firm was established in 1934 and the former owners messrs gravlin and bale are retiring from business after many years spent in the shoe buslness the purchase of the company is one link in postwar ex pansion plans of the dayfoot shoe company for increased domestic and export business mr vera callow who was for sever al years a resident of brampton and worked with mr johnston in george town lor a time is
