ties with georgetown and will have the local rooters behind them in the gruelling race in which ten men run three miles each west end and hamilton olympic are both past holders of the cup and are ex work section continues to improve in quantity of entries with a prize winning cook in the family this was one place we did take a good look and the pottery demonstrations by mr jesse wyatt and members of the arts and crafts drew many eyes at the armouries entrance school work again took up a good quarter of the hall and it continues to amaze us what the youngsters can do too bad the grade 7 prize winning mural was not back in time from the cnf for many were looking for it increased rnerchant cooperation resulted in many displays in the hall and in a big tent specially erected for this purpose and all exhibitors seemed well satisfied with results attained exhibitors included dick riddall brill s norton floral and rosedale flqral in the big hall and richardsons hardware mcclure home picnic the fair grounds did not prove entirely satisfactory lacking shade and wa ter both of which are essential for picnics facing up to the problem the di rectors of the federation made a sur vey of
