endeavour halton was well and worthily represented jialton club member wins kings guineas r the kings guineos class was the highlight of the live stock classes ot the reccrjt royal winter fn h7 club members paraded their respective baby beeves for dr w r g mcewan dean of agriculture for the province of manitoba they were the tops from renfrew and carleton on the east to lambton and elgin on the west the sheep and swine ring at the royal would hardly accommodate the club members and their calves let alone the huge crowd of specta tors that packed the auditorium from stem to gudgeon the calves per pound or a total of 1830 the other eight halton entries sold at prices ranging from 34 to 41 cents per lb halton may well be proud of all nine club members who com peted for the 1049 kings guineas clast but heres hats off to a worthy winner and agood sports man duncan campbell of mof fat other halton highlights the campbell shorthorn herd of moffat has for many many years been prominent in the shorthorn history of canada down through he years they have had their cham pions at previous royals and the international at chicago it was a real innovation however at this years royal to find both the fath er and son securing championship awards as indicated in the prev ious article duncan set the pace fy winning the kings guinea class the ambition of every baby beef club member in ontario then on the following day his fa ther grant took the junior and rand championship female award on his senior heifer calf naemser cinderella 3rd in the same class gocdon breck on of bronte had the third
