recalled that three varieties vvere used in the test namely dawsons golden chaff cornell 595 and daw- bul in all cases each plot was ap proximately one acre in extent a similar test was conducted by the halton crop improvement associa tion in cooperation with fred nurse near ashgrove as in the case of the dixon plots the three plots were combined and the grain weigh ed up according to mr nunc the total yields were as follows plot i cornell 595 1997 lbs ilot 2 dawbul 1927 lbs plot i dawsons golden chaff 1643 lbs inasmuch as each plot was slightly under an acre- in extent the yield has been brought to an acreage basis with the following results cornell 595 397 bus dawbul 38s bus dawsons golden chaff 327 bus it was pointed out by mr nurse that perhaps hue to the contour of the land there was a little more winter killing on the dawbul and dawsons plots than there was on ithe cornell 595 had it not been- for this mi iivirse is of the opinion that there would have been ittle or no difference between the cornell and dawbul 1
