corporal bui james takes place this saturday shirley and joan harrison entertained at a miscellaneous shower at their home last week on monday pauline nor ton and mrs peggy wylle held a shower at the home of mrs wel lington willett mr and mrs dick licata with mr and mrs louis battafelia of hamilton motored to ann airbor michigan for the weekend where they visited with mr licatas ne phew dr harry licata who is on the university staff there they saw the university of michiganohio state football game a highlight of the afternoon was a between-per- iods display of band and cheerlea ders which depicted a mississippi rive boat complete with smoke on monday evening friends in the neighbourhood gathered for a surprise party for mr and mrs john mcclure at their home on king street during the evening a lovely sewing cabinet was presen ted to the newlyweds after an enjoyable time at the mcclure home a delightful buffet luncheon was served at r etas hunters inn those signing the presentation
