their second lecture the far east next fall plans for this event were discussed at the regular meeting of the association held at the school on june 3rd it was decided to hold the lecture in st johns hall on tuesday october 3rd the result of the first lecture was most grati fying and a substantial sum was raised a new picture of the queen will be purchased for the school mr earl mckay agreed to make a cash box for the association it was also decided to purchase a new table for the projector and mr john glynn was asked to be responsible for the purchase the teacher of the school miss marjorle 3haw suggested that screens on some of the windows would make the school much more comfortable in warm weather the association agreed to supply these and a committee composed of mr earl trow mr glen spiece and mr w norton was appointed to make and instal the screens as there is painting to be done inside the school and other minor repairs it was decided to hold a work bee at the school on july
