ningham glenn irwin and jack h taylor john cunningham had taken two firsts the previous day at the peel county match one in the class for plowboys under 18 years and the other n the open utility class so he could afford to ease up a bit at his home match prsentation to world champ stiu another pleasing feature at the evening programme was the presentation made by stanley l hall mpp to mr and mrs jim eccles of brampton this consisted or a model of the masseyharris plow and tractor operated by mr eccles in winning the world title this model was made by george swan of milton and presented on behalf of the mil ton implement dealers a special two furrow utilty class arranged dy tht hallon execumc drew a record entry of 17 tractor plowmen this class modelled af ter those in the world competition at cobourg was a no handling class with asane limit of one hour here doug reid a former esso cham pion trip winner took top honors champion team repeat jn the horse show judge martyn heslop of tansley gave the first award to stan mays great team of percherons which also won the championship at the international earlier this month halton farm implement dealers put on a great display of practic ally everything that is new and modern in farm machinery when it comes to staging mach inery demonstrations most people are prepared la admit the ruddell bros fred and newton are in
