balloon game such a we had is the summit of any girls delight for each boy ties a balloon around his waist while the girls armed with rollrd newspapers can smash away at the balloons if they hit it untd it breaks the winner is the oe who is able to keep a balloon l in pt class we have been taught a few folk dances and m as park inson played the piano fr a few of thrm we hope to pr chose a few records soon too for ie dances thin year miss parkinso- taught us a new erlon of the schottische th s brought extra jtay smiles to accompany the extra gay dancing the different assortments of round dancing included a paul jones a bingo dance spot dance an elimination dance and a broom dance the paul jones and bingo dance are always sure ways of getting everyone on the floor the spot dance would bring a giggle to any ob server for near the end of the record there u always a small group collect ed at each logical spot each pair struggling to be nearest the spot an elimination dance works the opposite to the bingo dance instead of in creasing in the number of dancers decreases are the mode until the last couple are dancing alone the broom dance consists of many dancers end two people each with a broom roam the floor and try to get rid of the brooms by handing one broom to a dancer and then taking their place on the floor a new dance brought in if anyone had any energy stored up after sueh a programme they lost it all in the bunny hop this keeps on increasing in speed until the dan cers are too tired to to on needless to say it didnh take long to get us tired all was over sharp at
