with matching gauntlet glovis made of natural unshorn hide was especially original a tooled lea ther gun belt with double holster would brighten the eyes of any small boy one tabic held boxes of different sizes beautifully embossed and llnod a large leather picture frame oma mented with pine cones fur lined moccasins and a small clock with a leather frame there were two large pictures made entirely of leather one of an eskimo mother and child and the other which drew especial atten tion showed a shopkeeper with a most humorous expression one could al most see the twinkle in his eyes this exhibition proved that leathercraft can be both useful and ornamental it is a most fascinating hobby for men and women alike a silver collection was taken at the door to help defray expensea and the guests were served light refreshments a business meeting preceded open ing of the display mrs cyril brand- ford was to the chair an interesting resume of a meeting of the weavers guild held in toronto was given by mrs ern batkin it was moved that the annual exhibition and sale be held on october 20th in st johns church hill mrs leslie clirk thanked the com mittee who arranged the display
