chiwike two outstanding athlete a hoy and girl who also displays all- round leadership qualities from crade ii of various ontario high schools so that after their summer camp instruction they can return to their schools in the fall and be of assistance in the teaching and plann ing of sports and we certainly couldnt see where the government has omittel anything to that end in their camp program or their equipment the camp site itself is beautiful set against the lake amid tall evergrrens and welltended lawns included on the campus are several courts for tennis volleyball basketball and badminton as well as a baseball field mile track and an archery range in addition instructions were avail able on golf square and folkdanctng and officiating learning rules of the game run rat am isnt it the camp has every eonveftleaee and was extremely well organixed the girls lived in 10 cabins which can accommodate eleven in each every cabin had its own instructor and a leader for their various ac tivities the girls were divided into groups part of their routine which provided a relief from active sports were the evening programs planned and presented by the different troupe something new and oruunal every night gave plenty of scope for bud ding theatrical talent as welt as be ing lota of fun 9 tui camp instructors are pt tvachers from various schools for instance the golf teacher was from brampton as fsr as we kaouv the ramp has been operating about ten yean just as s tittle aid in remetn- bcring the wealth of detail given in the two weeks each girl was given
