decision to join metropolitan toronto industrial commission which ran into some opposition when it was introduced the previ ous week was made without com ment joining was at the suggestion of delrex maonty of games played u date and they are offering a pleasing brand of play for the fans there is only one drawback the team is playing to almost empty houses or in this case an empty park team members cannot understand the lack of in terest among the public games have been well ad vertised there is no admission charge with only a silver collection to defray costs of referees and equip ment and yet the collections so far have not even raised the few dollars necessary to pay officials soccer is the only maor sport for public viewing m town this year lacrosse has had to move to bramp ton because of arena remodelling fastball folded up early in the season and a few players oined bramp ton ranks and ourney there for their games a town which when it was half the size got crowds to the park for baseball turned out well for m door lacrosse and filled the arena for winter hockey cannot produce even half a hundred spectators for soc cer games which are exciting to the old country peo pie who know trie game and equally so to canadians who are seeing it perhaps for the first time lets give the jets some support in future soccer scoring spree down milton 80 the oru town j ts wt nt on
