bountiful repast served by the women s associa tion rev morgan mcfarlane was chairman of the meeting which began with the hymn blest be the tie that binds followed by prayer mr mcfarlane expressed his joy and satisfaction in the overall picture of the church last year and its growth in matters of the spirit and in membership the treasurer claude kentner gave an encouraging report of the church finances showing an in crease of 8000 over the previous years total the churchs partici nation in the sector plan of finan ting had contributed greatly to the financial picture he said the church isnow debt free for the first time in many years and a building fund is being established for further extension ernest forgrave superintendent of the sunday school gave a glowing account of its growth m attendance and activities and paid special tribute to the staff of teachers and officers alan prouse in turn spoke a word of appreci ation to mr forgrave lor faithful and outstanding leadership- mr
