certification for town employees union here certification for a local branch of the national union of public setvice employees is expected af ter a hearing last wednesday be fore the ontario labour relations board solicitor john ord represented the town at the hearing and infor med council by letter on monday that twelve of the 13 town employ ees affected have signed cards in dicating their desire to join the board he said accepted eleven of these with one held up because of a technicality discussing the matter at the meeting council decided that the administration committee is the dont have another man and dont forget we are committed to another 000 houses warned cr harrison cr hyde doubted that the pol iceman per thousand rule should be rigidly followed and said it is hasty to outdoor church service four members of orionlodge no 100 of the local order of odd fellows were in springfield sun day for the annual outdoor church service this year attended by some one thousand oddfellows from ontario quebec and michigan lodge members ai edmunds bill chaplin ken gregory and dave hastings took part in the pa rade to be springfield park where the service was led by the grand
